Meet Mike Monroe

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for checking out my JumpSnap Nation blog! Let me introduce myself -  my name is Mike Monroe, and I am part of the team over at PUSH.TV,  an affiliate of JumpSnap.  PUSH and JumpSnap are a great team, and I am very excited to be a part of it all.

My background is very diverse, and I am actually on a second career that is a bit of an extension of my first.  I was an officer in the US Marine Corps for twelve years.  During that time I really got into fitness, keeping myself and my Marines fit for our rigorous lifestyle. It was back then that I began to develop new and interesting ways to exercise, using very little (or no) equipment and sometimes very little space. After my time in the military and some additional time in government service, I moved to New York City and started my fitness business, HM4 Fitness. You can check out my background over at PUSH.TV.

My intentions with this blog are to give you some things to think about to help motivate you and also to provide you with tips and tools that will allow you to be your best.

I have worked with all types of people from all types of backgrounds with all types of personalities.  I have pretty much seen the entire spectrum of clients and personalities.  The one thing I want to get across to you is that no matter who you are or where you are from, YOU CAN succeed but YOU MUST put in the work.  It is that simple.

My philosophy stems from the known fact that we are all more capable then we think.  Our bodies will go much further then we think as long as our mind is strong, focused, and willing to push the body.  So think a little about this and start visualizing how you want to look and feel.  Make that image your motivation and burn it into your mind—then use the mind to motivate you to put in the work.

I hope this little tip has helped.  I will be back soon with more.

Be great!
